Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Adult Escort handles personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

We deliberately collect as little as possible. We know who advertises here, and that information being exposed could put someone at real risk — so the safest data is the data we never hold.

Two kinds of account

A guest account is free and lets you post on the community board. An advertiser account lets you publish a paid listing. Guest accounts hold less: an email address, a display name, and whatever you choose to write on the board. There is no listing, no photo, and no payment record attached to them.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, and a hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text).
• Listing data (advertisers only): the profile details, rates, contact numbers, and photos you choose to publish.
• Board posts: what you write, and the display name it is published under.
• Age confirmation: your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and when you gave it.
• Payment records: what was purchased, when, and the amount. Payments are handled by third-party providers — we never receive or store your card details.
• Technical data: session cookies and limited data needed to run the site securely and count listing views. View counts are aggregate — we do not build profiles of visitors or track people across sites.

We do not ask for or store identity documents, physical addresses, dates of birth, or bank details.

Photos: location data is removed

Photos taken on a phone often contain hidden GPS coordinates showing exactly where they were taken — which for an advertiser can mean their home address. Every photo uploaded here is re-processed on our servers to strip that data before it is stored or shown. The original file, with its embedded location and device information, is never published and is not retained.

What is public, and what is not

Anything in your listing — your working name, description, rates, photos, and any contact number you enter — is public once published. It can be seen, copied, and saved by anyone, including search engines. Please only publish what you are comfortable being permanently public.

On the community board, your display name and everything you write are public — visible to anyone, with no account needed to read them, and indexable by search engines. Choose a display name you are comfortable being seen under, and do not put contact details in a post. Board posts are not private messages.

Your email address and password are never shown publicly, and we deliberately keep contact numbers off listing cards, search results, and our sitemap so they are harder to harvest in bulk.

How we use it

We use your information to operate your account, publish and moderate listings and board posts, process advertising payments, respond to reports of harm, and keep the platform safe. We collect the minimum necessary, and we do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising profiling.

Disclosure

We may disclose information to service providers who help us run the platform (such as payment processors and hosting providers), or where required by law or to protect against serious harm — for example, in response to a lawful request related to trafficking or exploitation.

Reports and reporter privacy

Reports about a listing can be made without an account. When we act on a report we do not tell the advertiser who reported them or repeat what the report said — protecting the person who spoke up matters more.

How long we keep it

Account and listing data is kept while your account is open. You can delete individual listings and photos yourself at any time from your dashboard, and deleted photos are removed from our storage. You can delete your own board posts and replies at any time — though anything published publicly may already have been copied or cached elsewhere, which is outside our control.

To close your account entirely, email us at support@adultsescort.com — we handle these by hand and will remove your listings, photos, and profile data. We keep a minimal record of payments for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and we may retain records connected to a safety report or a legal obligation for as long as needed for that purpose.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and photo metadata is stripped on upload. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimise risk and to hold as little sensitive data as possible in the first place.

Where your data is held

The Platform runs on third-party hosting, database, storage, email, and payment services, some of which store data on servers outside New Zealand. We only use providers that offer comparable privacy safeguards.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access and correct your personal information, and to ask us to delete your account and data. Contact us at support@adultsescort.com and we will respond within 20 working days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your privacy, you can complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
