Using the community board safely
The board is public. Anyone can read it without an account, and search engines can index it. Your display name is attached to everything you post, so pick one you're happy to be known by and keep contact details — yours and anyone else's — out of your posts.
Posts go up immediately and aren't checked first. Nothing on the board is verified by us: treat what you read there as one person's account, not as fact, and be sceptical of anyone who moves the conversation somewhere private or asks you for money.
You can delete your own posts and replies at any time. If someone else has posted something unlawful or harmful, report it — we'll usually take it down while we look into it and give the author a chance to respond.
What we do, and what we don't
We sell advertising space and host a public board. We don't arrange bookings, screen clients, or vouch for anyone — advertisers here are independent people making their own decisions, and so are the people who contact them. Reviewing a listing before it appears is a check against our content rules, not a background check on a person, and board posts are the views of whoever wrote them rather than ours.
What we do handle carefully is your information: photo location data is stripped on upload, and any contact number you publish stays on your own profile rather than being spread across browse pages where it could be harvested. That's covered in full in our privacy policy.
